Prabhakar Kolte

Prabhakar Kolte (b. 1946) is a leading Indian abstract painter, graduating from Mumbai's Sir J J School of Art in 1968. He taught at this prestigious institution from 1974-1994, to pursue painting fulltime. He developed his own style of painting landscapes or architectural forms, all made in his dripping paint technique and often with a single predominant hue.
